I'm curious what you got cooking up Mana. So far it's been an amazing blast.

(1 edit)

Thanks!

For now I'm resting and taking are of some other things, I'll continue the game when I have more free time again.

Got it Mana take your time, art like your ain't something to rush.

Heard you’re lacking ideas right? Well I have some but don’t know if I should say it. Just in case, you plan on having mermaids in your thing? Cuz finding an underground secret tunnel in the onsee (I dunno how to spell it, English not my first language )if you go there enough, or you can let a shy insecure girl run the onsen and if you help her get out of her insecurity (grow bigger) she’ll show you the secret. Just an idea though, hope I don’t sound dumb

(+2)

Don't worry, it's not dumb.

Right know I have paused a bit the development of the game as I'm extremely busy but I'll come back to it in some time!

(+2)

rest well Mana

How am I supposed to drain Diane? Can you at least give me a hint?

You have to read the books that help you do it and find her in the best possible day!

(2 edits) (+1)

I found it! Thank you, Mana! Now, how will I find the last mystery form of Diane? I'm talking about the ??? one in the middle of Level 2. Any hints?

You can find it by following Diane's story, or by reaching a new mini-area.

Honestly that sounds like an amazing idea for one of the plethora of sides stories this game has.

I really like this ! A little short since there's only 4 growth stages + a temporary one (as far as I can tell) and everything can be unlocked quickly, but the overall quality is top notch

I love the use of colors and dialog boxes, it makes the game nice to look at, you don't see it often in this type of games, and it makes a huge difference ! It's also nice to be able to access a galery with most of the arts in the bedroom, including tips to unlock more

Shame you had to use AI gen, tho

So I purchased the game and I started to play it but it doesn't show the images just this weird photo icon, images work completely fine on demo but not the one I bought (yes I'm on mobile)

(+2)

For some reasons mobiles aren't able to access the image folder, it works on computer and on the browser.

I've been looking for a way to fix that but I haven't found it, so I recommend you, and everyone, to play on computer or the browser.

Also the game is free, thank you for the donation!

Ok Thanks for letting me know, and no problem

(+1)

Just an FYI, it works on my phone, a Samsung S21. I'm also using Chrome. There's a chance it might have more to do with the browser being used as opposed to the type of phone.

Chrome? Alright I'll test it out, thanks for letting me know

I’m on mobile, but it’s normal for me though

(+1)

Looks like a good base so far. It's refreshing to find one of these games with good bones and active development. I look forward to future updates and hopefully larger sizes.

is it normal that each time an update comes out my save is corrupted and i have to restart the game from scratch? amazing job, love your work btw

It's not normal, the game should let you load/import your previous save.

oh, weird, This happened a few times already and i just replayed the game; i don't know if there's something i can do about it, to let you know this is the specific error that it gives me when i try to load:

Sorry to interrupt... The story tried to load saved data, but there was a problem. The variables on turn 2 couldn't be reconstructed. (The value (or type) of the variable $dchar couldn't be found in the passage "Macro".)

and this is the one when i try to import it:

Save corrupted - Twine refused loading it!

Maybe you saved in a werid place?

I don't know, the save feature is something that I got from public domain.

Try saving in the bedroom or some static place.

so i tried that a few times and in a few places, but it doesn't seem to really work with anything, that's a bummer.

At this point i  will probably wait for the full release and play it all in the same version

What a pity, each time I've been testing the saves it worked, I can't do more to help you with that, have you tried exporting the data?

I definitely would love to see the cap for things able to be increased via certain unlocks and events. So far, things cap at 4, but what I would love to see is the caps raised to 8 or even 12. BUT with a catch!

To unlock these higher tiers, you have to do very specific events and unlocks. For intelligence, it might be via harder courses and events, and once you have it, you have it.

For Charm and Muscle, your max increases, but there is a catch. Legally, you can only ever be up to a certain size in certain areas. So pushing beyond that, outside of those could see yourself being requested to be drained down, or they limit your size in some way. It may already be in effect, or maybe you just need to do some ritual to get those larger sizes and keep them.

This also means the first requirement to reach these higher sizes is the improved SAD, so that you can change your size on the fly to comply with regulations around town.

This way, the players can still earn higher and higher max sizes (bigger numbers go brrr for the brain), yet you can keep the player in a very specific size range for events and situations, with better control for the events and how things play out.

So I imagine there will eventually be a police station (or sheriff's station at least, that could upgrade into a police station) and Town Hall, where events can take place. Sometimes Libraries can also act as town halls, or vice versa, in case you want to start the town with those buildings put together.

That brings me to some other ideas, such as building renovations and upgrading locations (both to allow for bigger sizes IN those areas, letting them be higher-tier zones, and also to reach higher relationship levels with individuals).

And ya know, the chance of learning more magic (which could be gotten at the highest tier of magic) could be interesting.

These are just some thoughts and ideas, but they could certainly be of use for the construction site beyond the Onsen.

And while it likely won't happen, I wouldn't mind visiting the town with all the guys, just cause.

(Also, just more outfits and things, and furniture to buy.)

Thank you for your ideas!

The idea of making higher size levels and intelligence level tied to certain events or unlocks is interesting, it could make it more manageable.

The problem will always be the amount of images needed for each size and the fact that making bigger sizes can lead to big inconsistencies in the characters but I'll think about it.

That "police station" or regulation about the size is interesting but it could feel too restrictive, if I implement something like that it will probably be an automatic limit, more "mystical" like a rule that's just in the area and auto enforces itself.

I have been thinking for a while in a building for special events with more characters but the fact that writing an event with too many characters is harder is stopping me a bit, I may revisit this idea in the future.

Upgrading some buildings would be an interesting mechanic but I'd need to think about how to balance it, using the construction site as nexus for that would give it too much importance so maybe using plain money... I'll think about it, that could give more uses to the money in game.

More clothes are definitely planned, one of them is already teased in game!

I'll keep thinking and developing the game with care (even if I end up missing some bugs until the reports come, sorry for that!).

I only suggested a sheriff and such just to make the town feel a little fuller (and someone in uniforms too, cause that can be hot)
I'd likely add a town hall OR make the library also act as a town hall, a place where events could happen every so often, and have content with more of the town interacting. But again, your probably right, large character events can take quite a bit of effort.

And for the inconsistency issue, is why I suggested either requiring a micro SAD purchase of your own, which can take some effort to get, which would add a SAD to the menu right below stats, but also, make you auto adjust in certain areas, to enforce consistency in scenes and areas in a logical sense, maybe with a little mention of your size auto compressing as you enter so you aren't being taken out of left field by your size restriction.

And if you want to lessen the importance of the construction site, an option could be that doing the work on the construction site speeds up how quickly the buildings come in, but they will be done regardless of whether you participate or not. So it's a build speed booster, but not mandatory.
Of course, the building can only happen after it's been funded and approved as well.

Thanks for considering my words, and I am more than happy to share more words, discussions, and ideas in the future, as they come to me.

I'll see what can I do.

I need to keep in mind the limitations that the language and my skills create.

I don't think that a dynamic S.A.D. as that is a lot harder to implement without breaking stuff.

The building system is something that I need to think about!

(2 edits)

Then just have a narrative advanced SAD that is required to access the higher tiers, without any mechanics behind it.

But thanks on hearing me out, and sorry for being a bother. Just replying with ideas. Keep up the good work!

(+1)

Do you have any plans to expand the projects the construction workers do?

I definitely loved the concept of us practically building the Onsen from the ground up.

I'd like to do that but first I need to think of good new buildings and expand the rest of the features.

At the same time I need to keep everything at a reachable state so maybe!

Yep, you do you Mana. Even I'm drawing blanks on what you could possibly add to the story.

Well besides this Witches place being a Farm 5 miles out of town.

how do i drain dain

(+1)

Get your intelligence lvl up then start reading the draining books in library. After that you'll get the opportunity to drain her.

how do i build the onsen?

You need to train Runa and Lassy first, as a personal trainer.

To unlock Lassy you need to finish training Runa, work enough in the construction site and talk with Reika!

When will we get more sizes for the heroine?

To be honest I don't know If I'll give her more full sizes, I'm thinking about just making events with specific bigger sizes instead.

Well now I'm darn curious about this "Witch" the book talked about. Best guess is that it's either Beth or the Red headed woman that wrote the draining books.

Would be interesting though if this Witches place is practically hiding in plain sight. "Hey remember that farm outside of town?"

I'm glad it made you curious!

More will come in due course~

I can't wait to see how this story plays out, it's going to be an interesting one I can tell you that much.

cool feature would be after super drain day you can walk into the forest and find the cabin and be able to drain gigantic Diane

That's already available in the game, or maybe I'm not understanding what you want to say.

when you visit Diane after her super drain day, she is small… it would be cool if you could visit her after her super drain day and drain her to become massive for the night

I understand you now.

When you visit Diane after that day, she has already recovered her original size, so I don't have plans right now to add a second consecutive super drain.

Thank you for the suggestion nevertheless!

:)
